The Department of Commerce in Business Process Services (BPS) was started in June 2021. The program is designed to enlighten minds toward Business Process Services and meet the need for graduates who can be self-employed or join BPS organizations. It began with an MoU with TCS in collaboration with Bharathidasan University, and its syllabus is approved by our Board of Studies and several universities.
The program equips students with skills to manage business processes—Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, Capital Markets—alongside strong fundamentals. Employability in the BPS industry is promising. The inaugural batch (2021–2022) enrolled 34 students with dedicated faculty and a Head of Department leading the program.
