About the Department

Commerce - Computer Application is defined as the buying and selling of goods or services, especially on a large scale. Commerce includes all those activities, which directly or indirectly facilitate the distribution aspect of the goods or services included in trade or business. Bachelor of Commerce or B.Com with Computer Application is a graduate program in commerce with a span of three years of study. This six semester program teaches different aspects of commerce with special consideration to Computer Application. Computer applications are application software which is a set of instructions or code written in a program for executing a task or an operation in a computer. This course helps students to acquire knowledge in commerce subjects along with awareness in computer applications subjects like computer programming, information technology, Business economics, computer accounting etc.
